Photo Contest " insects in Europe "

PHOTO CONTEST RULES "INSECTS Europe"
I. GENERAL
SAULIEU City Library is organizing a photo contest on the theme "
insects of Europe" from May 1 to August 31, 2010.
II. CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION
This photo contest is open to amateur photographers adults and children.
Parental consent is required for minors.
Entering the contest is free.
Each participant may submit up to 8 photos.
III. PHOTOGRAPHS ACCEPTED
The photos will stage the theme. Film and digital,

300dpi minimum, the photographs will be printed on glossy photo paper borderless format
130mm x 180mm, color or black and white. To prevent pictures from being blurred, it is imperative to use the command
macro camera.
Drawings will not be mounted or glued. Photos montages are not allowed.
the back of each photo must include Name, First Name, and a legend specifying the exact location
the shooting and the name of the insect.
They will be sent no later than August 31, 2010:
- By mail, at City Library Walk Monge 21210 SAULIEU, or

- Filed directly to the Municipal Library
IV. Photography
right away: Participants warrant that they hold the copyright of photographs sent
, that is to say they themselves took these pictures and allow the free reproduction and representation
their works as part of this contest and promotion
this operation. (press kit, website ...)
Image rights: participants should make sure the written agreement of
photographed and provide this authorization. Without this permission, the photos will
denied.
V - EXHIBITION
photos selected will be presented to the Municipal Library
of 7 September to 15 October 2010.
The photographs will be returned at the end of the exhibition. The awards ceremony will be held on October 15, 2010
evening.
V. CONDITIONS OF SELECTION
A jury of experts will select the winning photographs.
An audience award in all categories will be awarded. 2

VI. CLAIMS
Participation in this competition implies full agreement on the acceptance of concurrent
these Regulations, without possibility of complaint about the results.
City Saulieu not be held responsible if, due to a case of force majeure
, or any cause beyond its control, changes in dates or
intervened even though the competition was changed or simply canceled.
VII.
REGULATION The regulation is available throughout the competition at the Municipal Library
Monge 21210 SAULIEU Promenade and on the website of the city www.saulieu.fr
